He learned skin and coat care, bathing and drying, grooming and styling, animal behavior, and pet first aid. Mike also completed a 240-hour hands-on externship and graduated in the top 10% of his class. He brings professional training and experience to give your pet the best care.

HOW LONG DOES A GROOM TAKE?
Every pet is fully examined from head to tail to understand the condition of their coat and skin. We look for matting, shedding, undercoat buildup (which may require special tools), and other issues that can affect both time and cost.
- How long has it been since your pet’s last groom?
- Are you brushing and maintaining your pet between grooms?
- Are the nails routinely clipped or Dremeled?
- Is your pet’s skin dry or flaky (which can lead to scratching and irritation)?
- We also check for lumps/tumors that may need a veterinarian’s evaluation.
- Breed, size, age, coat type, and temperament all impact how long the groom will take.
It’s not about how fast you groom—it’s about doing the job properly, without cutting corners.

When you ask me that question, I’ll tell you I don’t know—because I’ve never seen or touched your pet. It’s like walking into a fine restaurant and asking how much it will cost. It depends on what you order. Or it’s like going to the grocery store and asking the total before you’ve chosen what to buy.

As a consumer, it’s important to know (and ask) who is taking care of your pet and what their qualifications are.
Most groomers work on volume or quantity to earn more money.
My company focuses on one thing: QUALITY NOT QUANTITY. We are not a high-volume groomer. I only groom 2 to 3 pets per day.
